Hamlow End of Year News

Happy Summer!

  • Thank you for an incredible school year filled with growth, learning, and connection!
It feels like just yesterday we welcomed eager learners through our doors, and now we’re celebrating all the progress they’ve made. Our students have learned so much—not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. We are so grateful for your support, partnership, and collaboration throughout the year.

  • It truly takes a village to help children thrive, and at Hamlow, we’re proud and thankful to be part of yours. Wishing you a safe, restful, and joy-filled summer!

Viking Learners!

  • Hamlow Elementary staff and students have done it again!
Through focus, determination, and hard work, we’ve made incredible academic strides this year. After completing end-of-year assessments, we’re proud to share that 83% of our students are meeting or exceeding academic expectations—a significant jump from 61% at the beginning of the year and 71% at midyear.

  • This growth is a direct result of the dedication of our students, the commitment of our teachers, and the support of our families. Together, we’ve created a strong, encouraging learning environment where our students can thrive.

  • Congratulations to the entire Hamlow community for an amazing year of growth and achievement!

Expectations & Celebrations!

  • Our students and staff have shown tremendous dedication to teaching, modeling, and living out our school-wide expectations. This year, we introduced several initiatives focused on promoting positive behavior and strong problem-solving skills—and it’s clear they’ve made an impact!

  • We’re wrapping up the year with over 32,976+ Viking Bucks earned as positive reinforcement! Students had the opportunity to celebrate their hard work by purchasing items from the Viking Van, enjoying special events like Pajama Day, and relaxing with a beach towel picnic lunch. We’re closing out the year with one final Vike Life Assembly to honor classes that consistently met expectations.

  • Great job, Hamlow! Your effort, growth, and positivity have made this a year to remember!
