Shop for Annual plants, vegetables, patio plants, hanging baskets and succulents on Friday, May 3rd 4:30 pm-7:30 pm and Saturday May 4th 8:30 am-11:30 am in the Eagle Elementary Gym- East Entrance! Everyone is welcome!! Grandparents, neighbors, friends. This is a Community Event! Bring a wagon for shopping (we have limited shopping carts) and plastic/cardboard to protect your vehicle. The celebration continues! Today is National Librarian Day! We thank Mrs. Reinwald for everything she does from helping our students find the perfect book to sharing her love of authors and stories! She also organizes our annual book fairs, selects new books and materials for our library and helps students learn proper Chromebook use and apps–this is the day we celebrate Mrs. Reinwald! Our final Book Fair of the year, B1G1, will be 4/29-5/03 in the Eagle Library! Kona Ice will also be available!

We are celebrating our AMAZING Paraprofessionals at Eagle Elementary today! They have so many roles and we simply could not have a successful day without them! A reminder that Discounted Presale Ticket Orders for PTE's Annual Fun Night are due TODAY, March 6th! You may turn them into the school office. Tickets may be purchased at the door for an increased fee. Volunteers are also needed! You will receive a FREE wristband by volunteering. Thank you for supporting Eagle PTE! This week only (March 4th, 5th, & 6th)--FREE School Breakfast for our students! A reminder that students may enter the building at 7:50 am for breakfast. Our first bell rings at 8:05 am and students are expected to head to class at this time.

Book Character Parade is at 2:30 pm today! There will be a Sign-In as well as a Sign-Out if you would like to take your student with you once it is over.

Dress Up as Your Favorite Book Character (No scary costumes or toy weapons). This is also Book Character Parade Day!

A Special Thank You to Rise N Shine Boutique in Eagle for their winter donation drive! Eagle Elementary received gloves, scarves, coats, socks and chapstick! These items come in handy and allow us to support students in so many additional ways! Thank you!

Thank you for being patient and flexible with us as we navigate this Nebraska winter! We are looking forward to seeing your dancers THIS TUESDAY, January 23rd for our Jr Dance Clinic. Details below: The K-5th clinic will be held at WAVERLY INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL from 4-5:45pm. 2. Dancers should wear clothes that are comfortable and easy to move in! Please have your dancer bring a water bottle with their name on it. Snacks will not be provided. T-shirts and free ice cream tickets will be handed out at the end of the clinic. If you have not submitted payment yet, please Venmo Coach Maryn (Maryn-Heald) or bring payment with you on the day of! Checks can be made out to District #145. Since we reschedule this event, we understand if your dancer is unable to attend. I will make sure their t-shirt is delivered to their school this week! ** The Boys Varsity Game starts at 7pm. If your child would like to play in the snow at recess we request that they have snow gear (snow pants, boots, coat, hat, gloves) and another pair of shoes to change into once they are done outside. Thank you!

Due. to road and weather conditions, there is no school today for staff and students. No evening activties and no VDP. Wishing everyone a safe and warm weekend!

Friday, January 19th, we have a 2 hr, late start. Buses will run accordingly. No Morning Preschool. Afternoon Preschool will run as normal. Elementary Students may begin entering the building at 9:50 am. No breakfast will be served. The first bell will ring at 10:05 am and the Tardy bell at 10:10 am. It is cold! Please remember to send your student(s) to school with. a warm coat, gloves. and hat. We greatly appreciate your flexibility!

After school pick up is in the horseshoe today and tomorrow (1/18-1/19) due to the snow. In order for this process to run smoothly please pull forward when directed. While you may have already spotted your student(s), we ask that you move forward so we can accomodate as many vehicles as possible and load safely & efficiently. When one vehicle stops it delays the entire process. We appreciate your help and understanding!
