Hello Waverly High School Parents & Guardians!
I hope this newsletter finds you well and enjoying the summer months as we make the turn from the month of June into the month of July! It is amazing to see how fast the month of June went and as always there was a flurry of activity at the high school with summer strength and conditioning sessions, marching band sectional rehearsals, and summer athletic camps. The month of July will continue to be busy, but it is my hope that you and your families get some down time prior to school kicking off in August!
As I share last month, I again wanted to share with you FOUR values that I hold to that will help to guide me as I lead the staff and students here at WHS!
Value - All people, places, and time has value and we will strive to make sure we will value those accordingly!
Integrity - Do the right thing at all times and at all places; Do what you say and say what you do!
Kaizen - Japanese saying for "constant improvement;" Work to be 1% better each and every day!
Excellence - Do it the right way, do it at the right time, every time!
This months newsletter is focused on keeping some important links as well as dates in front of you as we head through the summer months. Additionally, we have included some important beginning of the year information from both the school perspective as well as the activities perspective!
