What a group!!! Congratulations players and coaches on a GREAT showing at the Class B State Tennis Championships. They finished in 6th place overall with ALL of them returning next season. Can't wait!!
Royce played extremely well against a very very good McCook 1 singles opponent but just couldn't overcome. Royce is your 4th place finisher in 1 singles. Excellent season Royce, can't wait what unfolds for you next year!
Isaac and Grey fought hard but couldn't overcome Elkhorn North. They finished 4th in 1 Dubs. Awesome season fellas! Can't wait to watch you next year!!!

State Tennis Update.
Crete defeated Royce. Royce will play for 3/4 @ 1:00 vs. McCook
GICC defeated Isaac & Grey in a nail biter. They will play for 3/4 @ 1:00 against Elkhorn North
Aiden & Chase lost to Hastings & will play for 7/8 @ 11:00am against Kearney Catholic.

Aiden and Chase battle Elkhorn. Roth to the end but the upset comes short 6-0, 0-6, 10-6. They will play Hastings tomorrow morning on the consolation side. The team is sitting in 4th place after day 1. GREAT DAY VIKINGS!!!

William competed hard but came up short against Standing Bear. A lot of growth shown over the course of the season for William!

Aiden & Chase defeated Nebraska City and will take on Lexington next in #2 dubs.

Boys Tennis scheduled at Beatrice for today has been cancelled.
The inaugural EMC Boys Tennis Championships are in full swing. Elkhorn, Elkhorn North, Hastings, Lincoln Northwest, Standing Bear, & Waverly!
In its inaugural season the Waverly Boy's Tennis team takes Runner-up at the EMC Championships.
