Folks, what an intense finish. It came down to the last match!!! Waverly 38, Hastings 30. Your Vikings will be bringing home some hardware with a 3rd place finish. EMC will finish 1,2,3 in the Class B State Dual Championships…wowza.
Solid line up for the Badgers. Bennington defeats Waverly in the semifinals 49-25. Waverly will wrestle the winner of Blair/Hastings for a chance to take 3rd place.
BOOM, Waverly defeats Columbus Lakeview 46-21. They move into to the semifinal round to take on Bennington at 2:00pm. 3 EMC teams in the Class B final four…way to rep.
Viking Fans and Crew Members, if you want to see the wrestling team off, they will be leaving from the back activity entrance this afternoon following a quick workout. Between 5:15-5:30 they will load the vans. Come out & see them off & then come on in for Girls Varsity BBALL

It is official, the boys wrestling team has qualified for the State Dual Championships. Waverly is the #7 Seed and will take on Columbus Lakeview first. Wrestling starts at 9:00am Saturday morning in Kearney at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds. Let’s GOOOO Viking Crew!!!!
