Folks, what an intense finish. It came down to the last match!!! Waverly 38, Hastings 30. Your Vikings will be bringing home some hardware with a 3rd place finish. EMC will finish 1,2,3 in the Class B State Dual Championships…wowza.

Solid line up for the Badgers. Bennington defeats Waverly in the semifinals 49-25. Waverly will wrestle the winner of Blair/Hastings for a chance to take 3rd place.

BOOM, Waverly defeats Columbus Lakeview 46-21. They move into to the semifinal round to take on Bennington at 2:00pm. 3 EMC teams in the Class B final four…way to rep.

Viking Fans and Crew Members, if you want to see the wrestling team off, they will be leaving from the back activity entrance this afternoon following a quick workout. Between 5:15-5:30 they will load the vans. Come out & see them off & then come on in for Girls Varsity BBALL

It is official, the boys wrestling team has qualified for the State Dual Championships. Waverly is the #7 Seed and will take on Columbus Lakeview first. Wrestling starts at 9:00am Saturday morning in Kearney at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds. Let’s GOOOO Viking Crew!!!!

Our Waverly wrestling Team has UNofficially qualified for the state wrestling duals. Official results will be released Monday. In order for us to be geared up in time, we need to get apparel orders in. Go to the following website and order your apparel now! The deadline is Monday, 10:00am to place your order. EMC Dual Championships this Friday @ Waverly. All wrestling will take place in the Main Gym and will begin at 3:00pm. Admission is $6 for adults & $4 for students. EMC Passes only. Some top Class B dual teams at this tournament will make for a very exciting evening!!
