Due to the threat of potential severe storms later this evening, the State Baseball game at Tal Anderson Field against Elkhorn North has moved to a 3:00pm start time. Again, start time for today's baseball game is 3:00pm.

Waverly will play again at 4 PM tomorrow at Tal Anderson field on the campus of UNO. They will play the winner of Elkhorn/Elkhorn North.

Booyah!!!! Waverly baseball comes back to defeat Norris in the first round of state baseball 5-4. Waverly will play again on Monday afternoon at 4:00pm at UNO.

Waverly baseball gets the win over Nebraska City and will play Omaha Skutt at 5:00pm at Skutt on Monday for a chance to punch their ticket to State.

District Baseball Update....NO GAMES TOMORROW. District Baseball will play Friday, Saturday, and Monday. Game 1 3:00pm on FRIDAY 5/6 Game 2 5:30pm on 5/6 Game 3 8:00pm on 5/6 Game 4: 12pm on SATURDAY 5/7 Game 5: 2:30pm on 5/7 Game 6 (Finals): 5:00pm on MONDAY 5/9.

Need to give a S/O to Waverly Legion Baseball, Empire, & anyone else who helped purchase the tarp for the baseball field. B/c of this purchase, we are able to play ball this afternoon out @ Lawson. Special THANKS to all those who helped cover the field on Sunday & w/ help today.

What a phenomenal evening honoring our baseball seniors and their families. All 9 got the nod to start the game to play with each other & were highlighted for their work ethic, dedication, & leadership towards the program. #THANKYOUSENIORS

Tonight's Varsity Baseball game vs. Seward will now start at 4:00pm due to possible rain this evening. We will still plan on holding SENIOR Night following the varsity game.
