A reminder that the musical, Annie, is this weekend at the Waverly High School! We are proud to share that we have several Eagle students performing and we wish the best of luck to all of the actors this weekend!
Read-A-Thon Prize Point Redemption has been extended to Monday, March 20th. Please use your email account information to redeem; students will not do this at school. Thank you again for encouraging your student to read and helping us raise money to purchase STEM coding equipment for our library!
Dress-up Day Tomorrow! Tuesday, February 28th students are invited to wear black and bring a flashlight for "Blackout Day!" as part of the all school Read-a-Thon!
Our “Book Character Parade” is Thursday, March 2nd at 2:30 pm. Families are welcome to attend. Students may come to school dressed in their costumes and are required to have a book to go along with their costume. If a book is needed, they are always welcome to check one out in our library. We can’t wait to see the awesome costumes kids come up with this year!
All District 145 students can enjoy FREE breakfast on March 6th, 7th, and 8th! Eagle Elementary Students may begin entering the building at 7:50 am.

Readers get ready! Each week we will celebrate the TOP readers in our school! Be sure your page is activated! There are 2 ways to earn prizes. Students earn prizes for reading as well as RAT (read-a-thon) dollars for their fundraising. The money we raise will support the library in purchasing new books, STEM equipment and library furniture!
We will be having some reading fun the next 3 weeks!

A reminder that PTE's Annual Mother/Son Nerf Night is this Friday evening, February 10th, 6:00-7:30 pm. Darts will be provided by PTE. We look forward to a fun evening!
Two hour late start on Thursday, January 19th. Busses will run accordingly. There will be no before school practices, weights or activities. There will also be no a.m. preschool in our buildings or VDP. There will be afternoon VDP.

The Gingerbread Cookies have been found!! Phew! Our Kindergartners toured the entire school looking for them and they were found in the library with their Gingerbread Houses! We are so happy they were found before break!
Early dismissal on Wednesday, December 21st to get students and staff home sooner than having a full day of school.

Early Childhood classes at Eagle Elementary-cancelled.
All students, other than the high school, will be fed lunch in our buildings before being dismissed. The high school had made plans not to serve lunch during finals however some students who had requested a sack lunch can pick that up in the kitchen before they leave.
Thank you for your flexibility as we’ve made changes to our schedules this week.
REVISED: Eagle Elementary will dismiss on Wednesday, December 21st. at 12:25 pm. Lunch will be served. No after school care (VDP) or school activities due to weather. No school on Thursday, December 22nd. Holiday break is now December 22-January 3rd. Students will return to school on Wednesday, January 4th. Our Gingerbread Cookies have escaped!! Our Kindergartners spent time decorating them and then when it was time to take them out of the oven....they were GONE!! So now our Kindergarten classes are on the lookout for them...we hope we find them before break!
