Waverly Unified Bowlers finished the seeding round with a 783. They are seeded 7th and will take on #2 York in the quarterfinals.

Super proud of the efforts our One-Act put in. Although we didn’t win our Class A district, we finished 4th out of 8 teams! With five outstanding actor awards and third place for tech. Outstanding efforts as we re-enter the one-act competition field. Bright things ahead!!

Update from York Wrestling Duals. Waverly over Fairbury 71-6, Concordia/DC West 52-23, GINW 58-15, and Papio South 67-12. You Vikings defeated Omaha Westside in the Championship round 43-33. Awesome day coaches and wrestlers!!!
Elkhorn Girls JV defeats Waverly 38-25.
Boys JV defeats Elkhorn 50-28.
Waverly completes the sweep over GINW as the boys varsity wins 47-34 and girls JV down to the wire with a 37-33 win. Back at it tomorrow hosting Elkhorn.

The Waverly Boys and Girls Bowling Teams opened up their inaugural season today at Columbus Lakeview. The Waverly Boys won 13-8 and the Lady Vikes were victorious 18-1. Awesome start of Viking Bowling History!!
