Congratulations to Jayden Truong, who was recently selected as a World Language Distinguished Scholar (High Honor) by the Nebraska Department of Education. The World Language Distinguished Scholar Award is given to students who demonstrate leadership in language learning, commitment to language study, appreciation for cultural diversity, and communicative competence. Jayden was chosen among Nebraska's best and brightest language students, based on his superior proficiency and performance in Spanish and his passion and dedication to World Language study. We know our boys basketball season didn't end the way we all hoped, but what a year it has been. Every time out, no one gave you a chance & yet you always pushed teams to the limit. Each & every time out, the work ethic, hustle and passion you played with made US all very proud.

It is official, your Waverly girls basketball team will play at 3:15 PM next Thursday at pinnacle Bank Arena against Gretna East in the first round of the first round of the class B girls state basketball tournament.
Monday at Bennington, the first 100 students will be admitted free of charge thanks to an anonymous donation. The boys game will start at 6:00pm. Let's get there and be LOUD!!!
