A reminder, all home games from this point on are post season games. NO PASSES accepted. Admission is $6 for adults and $5 for students. Girls host Plattsmouth this evening @ 6:00pm and the boys will host Thursday evening at 6:00pm. Games will be broadcast on our STRIV Channel.

Congratulations to the Speech Team for their 4th place finish at the EMC Speech Championships. Kayah and Ben - 6th in duet, Will - 4th & Tanner 6th in entertainment, Marianna - 2nd in persuasive, Leah - 3rd in poetry, and Avery placed 3rd and Tressa placed 6th in POI.

Boys B-2 Sub-District is Set. Waverly will host the winner of Plattsmouth and Nebraska City at 6:00pm on Thursday evening.

A big-time shout out to Cooper Skrobecki and Charlie Johnson on their selection to play in the 2023 Nebraska shrine bowl. Congratulations!!!

Our OUTSTANDING Cheer Team competed at the State Cheer Championships today! They finished 4th overall in their Class B Game Day routine. They have put SO much work into today. We are VERY proud of you ladies!!!

GARRETT RINE is your 152 Class B State Runner-up coming up short in OT. Tremendous season Rino. We are proud of you!!!

BRAYDEN CANOYER is your 132 Class B State Runner-up. Congratulations on the season Brayden. We are proud of you!

KEMPER REED with a GRITTY match. He takes down McCook 4-3 and is your 145 Class B 5th place medalists. Congratulations on a stellar senior season and outstanding career Kemper!

Folks, here is the schedule for this afternoon/evenings finals. They will start at weight 106. They will wrestle 3 boys weights and then wrestle a girls weight. Finals are slated to start at 3:00pm. Waverly will have Canoyer at 132, Rine at 152 and Moser at 182.

Kemper with a SOLID effort against Wayne but comes up just short. He will wrestle for 5/6th later this morning.

Trev GREVE fights the good fight but can't get past Blair. He will wrestle for 5/6th later this morning.

GARRISON BREHM with the 7-3 victory over Beatrice. He will wrestle for 3/4th later this morning!!!!

Nate battled SSC extremely hard but couldn't quite get the W. Nate was an undersized warrior all year long at 285 and stood toe to toe every match. Great season and career Nate!!

Harrison can't overcome a quick start from York and is defeated. Excellent season Harrison!!!!
