Congratulations to the WHS Microeconomics students. All classes (106 students) participated in the Statewide "Nebraska Fall EconChallenge" sponsored by the Nebraska Council for Economic Education. The Top 5 teams earn a spot in the Spring State Championship. The stats: A team of four Waverly students won the Fall Competition: Malcolm Witte (score of 250), Aden Smith (240), Peyton Tritz (220), and Ariana Rodriguez (220). Total 710 points. Two other teams qualified for State in Spring as well, finishing 4th and 5th. Over all, Waverly Economics students were 3 of the top 5 teams, 5 of the top 10 teams, 11 of the top 20 teams, 19 of the top 50 teams, and 24 of the top 100 teams. Well done! Economics is Everywhere!!!

District One-Act update… Waverly finished 3rd, one spot out of qualifying for state. The kids definitely saved their BEST for last. What an awesome job by everyone!!! ATTA WAY!!!!
