Early dismissal on Wednesday, December 21st to get students and staff home sooner than having a full day of school.
The building dismissal times are listed below:
Eagle-12:25 p.m.
Hamlow-12:40 p.m.
WIS-12:50 p.m.
WMS-12:45 p.m.
WHS-1:00 p.m.
Early Childhood classes at Eagle Elementary-cancelled.
All students, other than the high school, will be fed lunch in our buildings before being dismissed. The high school had made plans not to serve lunch during finals however some students who had requested a sack lunch can pick that up in the kitchen before they leave.
Thank you for your flexibility as we’ve made changes to our schedules this week.
Waverly Vikings get a great win over Crete, 61-27. Great job!
Travel conditions have worsened in the Omaha area. Therefore, the girls reserve basketball game against Omaha Gross will be POSTPONED for this evening. We will work on finding another date. The Boys 9th game WILL be played against neighboring Lincoln Lutheran this evening.

Waverly defeats Lincoln Southeast in their final duel today 66-15. Drew Moser and Kemper Reed both go 8-0 on the weekend. Time to rest and recoup before the gauntlet of January.
Wrestling finishes 3-3 in the pool rounds defeating Columbus 38-33 and Norris 67-12 this morning. In bracket matches, they lose a close one to Kearney 41-36. Lincoln Southeast is up next.

Due to poor weather conditions and the likeness of icy conditions this afternoon, the basketball games scheduled for tonight against York have been postponed. We will work on rescheduling these games and send out a date at a later time.
