FINAL in EMC Boys Soccer Action: Waverly defeats Elkhorn in OT 2-1. The Vikings will head to Norris High School on Friday to take on Elkhorn North for the Championship. Game time is 5:00pm.
Reserve baseball games scheduled for this Saturday against Omaha Concordia have been cancelled due to low numbers for Concordia this season.
Due to the threat of potential weather later today/evening, and teams/fans traveling home, the EMC Soccer tournament has postponed today's semifinal games to tomorrow. Waverly will play Elkhorn at 6:00pm hear at Viking Stadium tomorrow evening.

Waverly High School would like to announce that Garrett Borchers will be taking over as Head Boys Basketball Coach. Coach Borcher has served as an assistant on staff the past 2 yrs. He also served as the HC at Crete High School for 3 yrs prior to arriving @ Waverly in 2020.
Girls Soccer will play Elkhorn tomorrow, April 8th at 5:30pm here in Waverly. This will be a girls varsity game only, no JV as Elkhorn does not have enough numbers.
We have not found a date for the boys games vs. Elkhorn yet.
The soccer games scheduled against Elkhorn this evening have been postponed due to weather conditions. We will try and look for a date to reschedule.
