Boys Wrestling began the season unranked in Class B. They qualified for the State Dual Championships as the 8th seed and walked out earning 5th place. Well done men!!!!

Waverly girls finished 7th overall in the Class A District 3 tournament. MAC and Payton are your district Champions and Emma finished 4th, all state qualifiers. Congratulations ladies!!!!!

Girls Bowling districts has started off very well for Waverly. Your individual district runner-up is Blakeley Meyers and your district champion is Ve'Anna Dotson. Team baker games are up next. Waverly earned the overall seed and will have a first round bye.

Boys Bowling was locked in today and finished as District Champions upsetting #2 Omaha Skutt. Aden Schuette finished 5th overall and will also compete individually next week at State. ATTA WAY BOYS!!!!

Simply an outstanding performance by the Waverly Encore group this morning here at The Summit Show Choir Invite. WOW, earned every bit of that standing ovation! ATTA WAY!!!!

Girls Wrestling finishes 9th out of 14 in the Younes Hospitality Dual Tournament today out in Kearney. Jasmia was named the outstanding wrestler at 120 for the tournament. CONGRATULATIONS LADIES!!! ATTA GIRL MIA!!!!

It was a wonderful evening celebrating these ladies, their accomplishments on the mat, and their final senior season. They defeated Lincoln Southeast in the dual!! Thank you parents for your support. An elite group for sure!

Earlier today we hosted a community celebration at WHS of the 2025 State Champion Football Team. It has been 45 years since the last title. We had the privilege to have some of the 1980 team in the crowd and listen to Pat Lawlor, son of past title head coach, John Lawlor. FAMILY!

History made for our Girls Wrestling Team as they bring home the championship plaque from the Fairbury Invite today. Congrats girls and coaches! ATTA WAY!!!!
