Our Girls Tennis Team is battling the wind with the others out here at Woods today for the Waverly Invite.

State Baseball: Monday , May 19th & Wednesday, Mat 21st LOCATION: Field is located just south of the football stadium Papillion LaVista South 10799 Highway 370 Papillion, NE 68046 TICKET INFORMATION: https://gofan.co/app/school/NSAA 1. NO's - sunflower seeds, peanuts and/or gum 2. Full concessions - burgers, dogs, breakfast burritos, etc. 3. Parking - see the attached map 4. NO seating in the outfield on the hill - fans must enter the gates.

State Baseball apparel orders will be available for pickup in the high school commons area on Friday, May 16th from 3:40pm - 5:00pm. If you are unable to pick up at this time, it will be available in the high school office during regular hours.

Waverly Activities is excited to welcome Mr. Luke Shepherd to the coaching family. Luke will take over as our next head softball coach. Luke has served as a coach across many areas with the most recent as a WHS assistant softball coach and with the WAVE athletics select teams.

A big shoutout to our outstanding business students — Noah Darling, Aidan Jespersen, and Gregory Cockerill — for representing Waverly High School with excellence at the Stock Market Game Banquet of Champions! Through 13 weeks of smart decision-making and strategic investing, this talented trio achieved an impressive $60,507 portfolio gain, earning 3rd place out of 469 teams statewide! Their success in personal finance earned them a well-deserved spot alongside industry professionals at the celebration event. Tonight's WHS Choir Concert has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday April 29th starting at 6:00pm in the WHS auditorium.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the high school vocal concert scheduled for tonight will be postponed. We will be working on a rescheduled date and communicate that out as soon as possible.

Waverly baseball gets 3 runs in the top of the 7th to take a 6-5 lead. They complete a double play to defeat Lincoln Southwest. They will play Kearney later this evening. The GRIT in this team!!!!

Some fantastic sounds from our varsity band this morning at District Music. Don't forget, Jazz Band Dance is tonight at WIS.

Booster Club Apparel Spring Sale The Booster Club will be holding a Spring Apparel Sale! We will have $10 T-shirts and $20 Sweatshirt sales along with several other items marked down to get the shed cleaned out for spring. We will have our sale going on Saturday April 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. during the girls and boys soccer games against Aurora inside the stadium. Please pass this info along to anyone needing some new gear for their spring/ summer wardrobe. 100% profit goes back to our student athletes. Thank you and GO VIKES!!

Tonight's boys soccer games will be played as followed. VARSITY will start at 5:00pm in Viking Stadium. Pending any weather delays and additional weather following the varsity game, we will play a 1/2 JV game following varsity.

It's going to be an entertaining night on Friday at Waverly Intermediate School. Come on out for the Waverly Jazz Band Dance from 7:00-9:00pm. Live Jazz performed by Waverly Middle & High School Groups. These kids have been playing some beautiful music during their practices.
