A group of juniors took a trip to UNK last week to learn about all the benefits of becoming a Loper. At the conclusion of the tours, UNK staff shared our group has been the best behaved group! Great job representing Waverly!



The EMC Volleyball Championships are this Saturday at Elkhorn North. Waverly will start off playing Hastings at 10:00am. GOOD LUCK!!!

District Softball has been set and your Waverly Vikings have earned a spot playing Saturday @ Plum Creek Park in Seward. This is a best 2/3 series with a chance to punch a ticket to State. More information will be shared as it is received.

Back at Viking Stadium tonight, JV football defeats Omaha Skutt 21-14.
Softball is beat by Elkhorn North 2-1. A very well played game by both teams! We will await the conclusion of other districts to see if we will qualify for a District Final.
Softball defeats Elkhorn 3-0 and will play Elkhorn North in the sub district finals. Game will start shortly.
Please help me congratulate this group as they qualified for the Girls State Golf Championships out in Scottsbluff next Monday and Tuesday. Tia was your individual District Runner-up. Awesome job today ladies!

The Waverly Marching Band competed at the Capital City Marching Championships in Lincoln on Saturday. The Pride of the Vikes were the Class B Champions and took Runner-up overall all class. Nice work crew!!!!

Ack at home in Volleyball action tonight, Waverly 2-1 over LSE, 2-0 over Kearney and 2-1 over Elk South (3-0) on the afternoon. ATTA WAY LADIES!!!
