It is official, the Waverly Girls Soccer Team will travel to Blair on Monday, April 8 for a 7:00pm 1st round EMC Soccer Tournament Game.

It is official, Waverly baseball is the #1 seed in the EMC Conference Baseball Tournament. They will host Hastings on Monday, April 8th. First pitch at 4:30pm. We will play our JV game against Lincoln East following the varsity game.

Elkhorn South needed to reschedule a JV/V DH to April 23rd. Therefore, our reserve baseball game will now be played on Saturday, April 20th @ Elkhorn South HS. The activity calendar has been updated.

Congratulations to WHS Yearbook. The following qualified for State Journalism. The team qualified in the category of Theme Development, lead by Jadyn Converse, Eden Moore, and Austin Ockinga. Austin Ockinga (Yearbook Layout AND Sports Feature-Writing), Zoie Holbein (Sports Feature Writing), Allison Pulford (Infographic Design), and Lauren Bohling (Advertising).

That's a 4-3 WIN vs. Bennington this afternoon for the Waverly Baseball Team. Kael Lade with 6 1/3 innings pitched with 9 K's. Simply outstanding GRIT from this group! Nice work men!

It was a fantastic day celebrating an exceptional group of girls and boys senior soccer players and their parents. THANK YOU for the dedication and support of our programs. It has been a GREAT ride and we look forward to watching you finish it out.

The reserve baseball games against Plattsmouth scheduled for Tuesday, April 2nd here in Waverly have been postponed. Plattsmouth is unable to play. We are working on a reschedule date.

That's a HUGE walk off WIN for the baseball team as Drew Koch drives in the winning run in the bottom of 7 to defeat a VERY GOOD Beatrice team 3-2. JV was also victorious earlier today. Keep finding a way men!!!

WHS is excited to have Paige Piper join our Activity Department as the next Head Dance Coach. Paige comes to us from L. Lutheran where she has spent the last 10 yrs. guiding her teams to multiple State Titles. Paige is also the Executive Director for BraveBe Child Advocacy Center

The reserve Mt. Michael baseball games have been rescheduled to be played on Saturday, April 6th. They will now be @ Mt. Michael with the first game starting at 10:00am. The activity calendar has been updated.
