October-December 2012

School District #145 - Waverly is engaging in a series of five community meetings over a period of ten weeks to gather feedback regarding the long-term plans for the district.

Meeting #2 was held at Waverly Intermediate School on November 4, 2012. There were forty-five people in attendance, several of whom were not able to participate in the first meeting. Presentations and discussion centered around Nebraska Department of Education regulations for curriculum and school improvement, as well as district curriculum and school improvement process.

The Board of Education originally invited seventy people, which includes board members, administrators, staff, and patrons to participate in the planning process facilitated by Dr. Don Fritz, of the FGR Group.
