We are pleased to announce that Mr. Jordan Cudney has been selected as the new Principal of Waverly High School. After interviewing four exceptional candidates, Mr. Cudney emerged as the best fit to lead WHS forward.
Mr. Cudney lives in North Platte and is the principal at Hershey Jr/Sr High School. Jordan and his wife have three daughters and one son.
Mr. Cudney has been the secondary principal in Hershey since 2022 and was an Assistant Principal/Activities Director in North Platte from 2019 to 2022 and Cozad from 2017-2019. Mr. Cudney earned his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Doane University in 2018.
Mr. Cudney is bringing a balanced leadership approach who values all aspects of educating young adults. He is grounded in strong relationships and has a sharp focus on student achievement and instruction. Mr. Cudney will be a great asset to our district and we are looking forward to his leadership.
